The Lynx Technik yellobrik OTX 1812 ST 3Gbit SDI to Fiber Optic Transmitter with Fiber ST is a small SDI to fiber optic transmitter designed to overcome the challenges of distributing uncompressed broadcast quality video signals over long distances. When combined with a fiber optic to SDI receiver (such as the yellobrik ORX 1802), you have a very cost efficient optical transmission/receiver solution for signals up to 1080p60 (3Gbit/s) while retaining full uncompressed quality.
The OTX 1812 has a looping SDI input, support for LC, ST, or SC single-mode fiber connections, and an LC variant for multimode fiber. Prior to optical transmission, the OTX 1812 will auto-detect and re-clock any 270Mbit/s, 1.5Gbit/s, or 3Gbit/s SDI source. The module fully supports 3G Level A and Level B formats.
