Description

AJA’S FiDO-R-12G is a Single-Channel Receiver that can convert LC Optical Fiber to 12G-SDI. This Mini-Converter has 2x SDI outputs that allow the transport of SDI, HD-SDI, 3G/6G/12G SDI up to 6 miles of distance. The transport of the video can be accomplished when using the standard Single-Mode Fiber Optic cable. The LC Optical Fiber Receiver utilizes a compact and unmatched flexibility with electrical isolation, which is useful for eliminating ground loop issues.

Moreover, the user can choose from ST, LC to SC connectors, this can vary with the converter model. The FiDO converter is suitable for all relevant SMPTE specs, versatile, are rugged and perfect for outdoors/indoors.

Compact and Portable
The FiDO converters are compact, works fine in tight spaces behind on camera, gear rack and trucks. This converter has a locking power connector that can't be removed accidently or pull loose. Another feature is the P-TAP power cable that allows for the battery power in remote locations.

All AJA Mini-Converters are shipped with a universal power supply, which includes an international plug connection for use around the world.

AJA Mini-Matrix
All AJA’s Mini-Converters are now available as a mobile app on iOS. This feature allows the user to have the control over their Mini-Converters though an app. This app helps the user to find a convenient converter for any type of situation, if is needed.
