The JVC GY-HC500U Handheld 4K Professional Camcorder offers a UHD 4K camcorder that shoots in both NTSC and PAL compatible frame rates and is designed to seamlessly work with both traditional as well as IP workflows. It features a 1" CMOS sensor and an integrated 20x optical zoom lens, while the camera can create a 40x digital zoom. The camera can capture in UHD, HD, SD, and you can record SD as a proxy, recording up to 30p to the built-in media card slots or 60/50p to an optional SSD. The GY-HC500 supports HDR by recording in HLG or JLog1 (10-bit).
Shoot 4K ultra-HD with HDR and record to SSD or SDHC/SDXC media in a wide variety of formats. Ultra-HD ProRes 422 10-bit at 50/60p is possible when recording to SDD media. The GY-HC500 Connected Cam also features high-performance 1080 60p/50p live streaming with low latency (<500 ms) and a full complement of IP remote control and viewing features.
