The MediaDS Wowza Media Distribution System from NewTek is a fully equipped rack mount base real-time media encoding and live streaming video delivery platform system for up to 4 channels of video. Streaming sources are acquired through direct, physical input using 3G/HD/SD-SDI hardware connections, over IP via NDI, and from other sources, including TCP/IP, webcams, and USB capture devices, with support for delivery to any device, anywhere through the Wowza Streaming Engine, as well as all common streaming services, websites and CDNs. Local input sources are also automatically translated to NDI within the system, enabling streaming sources to be delivered and deployed through multiple MediaDS units to maximize resources, performance, and delivery potential.
Seamless Integration feature makes this MediaDS to stream content via SDI hardware connection over IP via NDI (NewTek Device Interface) technology or over other sources that incorporate TCP/IP, webcams, and USB capture devices. Meanwhile, the Universal Workflow means that it can integrate towards any video with using the source types interchangeably and flawlessly; multi-format operation and can support for emerging transmission standard (up to 3G 1080p). The Stackable and the Scalable feature is an integration towards several MDS units into the installation to add a different channel. It can also works in combining resources through the cascading streaming signals among system to boost performance.
Multi-Platform Delivery in this MediaDS gives user the easiness to customize the streaming media to gain utmost viewership, choosing from diverse delivery targets, or from some streaming services (including websites), or even configuring the specific destinations. This product is a superb device that can brand each stream autonomously with the customizable web page per channel to support the editing for HTML and CSS as well as embed codes for the hosted media player, thereby providing users a Signature Experience feature. The Quality Control aspect itself allows users to monitor all video streams in the real-time based or focus to specific channel screen, with the integrated multiviewer that incorporate selectable workspace and user-configurable viewports.
MDS is a device that provides the best solution with the advanced technology hardware and software technology. Whether for encoding or streaming, this product offers numerous possibilities not only for distribution, or expansion but also for content monetization.
Seamless integration into existing and emerging SDI, IP, and hybrid workflows with 3G/HD/SD-SDI and NDI connectivity; flawless, multi-format processing enabling supported source types to be used interchangeably; accommodation of TCP/IP, webcams, and USB capture devices as input sources; and automatic internal translation of local input sources to NDI, enabling streaming signals to be shared over the network with other systems and devices
