The Datavideo KMU-100 4K Multicamera Processor is an advanced video converter that allows the processing and conversion of 4K SDI or HDMI with the resolution of 3840x2160 into eight different high-quality streams at resolutions up to Full HD. You can view two 4K video channels at the same time on the multiview monitor as well as other cropped 4K video images in smaller windows for easier video switching. You control the KMU-100 through the RMC-185 hardware controller allowing users to easily pan, tilt, and zoom to create the user-defined windows on the 4K signal. The Datavideo RMC-185 controller is sold separately.
The KMU-100 offers the user two independent conversion channels. The device allows simultaneous and parallel processing of two UHD signal sources (3840x2160). The input signals are converted into 8 3G SDI outputs, which can be additionally synchronized to a Genlock input.
