DeckLink Duo is perfect for developers who need two completely independent capture and playback streams in and out of a computer, as both capture and playback channels are completely independent. There are two SDI inputs, and two SDI outputs plus a common tri-sync/black burst reference. DeckLink Duo appears as two independent SDI cards to the computer, but only uses a single PCI Express slot. DeckLink Duo is perfect for servers where there are multiple streams or simultaneous capture and playback per system. DeckLink Duo is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

DeckLink Duo includes two SDI inputs and two SDI outputs that can be switched between SD and HD video formats. Each SDI input and output is completely independent, and handled via a completely separate processing core. This means that each SDI input or output could be a different video standard as well as different content streams. DeckLink Duo can also capture and play back at the same time. A common genlock/tri-sync input is included.

Hardware Down Converter
If you've ever wanted to monitor in both HD and SD while you work, then you'll love the built in high quality down converter on the DeckLink Studio model that's always active on the SD-SDI, S-Video and composite video output connections. This lets you use the main SD/HD-SDI output for HD, while simultaneously using the SD-SDI, S-Video and composite outputs for standard definition. When working in HD the built in down converter lets all video outputs remain active in both capture and playback mode, and in all HD video formats! You can instantly select between letterbox, anamorphic 16:9 and center cut 4:3 down conversion styles.
