The Netgear AV Line M4250 8x Port Gigabit PoE+ Managed AV Switch (125W) features an AV codec that typically utilizes 1Gbps or 10Gbps per stream, and the M4250's AV Line is optimized for 1Gbps codecs. In AV racks, PoE+, Ultra90 PoE++, and rear-facing ports provide a clean integration. Standard audio and video signals are pre-configured on M4250 switches. When more precise needs are needed, an AV user interface with port-based profiles might be used. For audio Dante, there are Q-SYS and AES67 profiles, as well as an AVB profile that requires an AVB license, which is offered separately. The M4250 supports NVX, AMX, Q-SYS, NDI, Dante, and other video formats, as well as audio/video/control mixed profiles.
