The Lynx Technik yellobrik SPG 1708 Sync Pulse Generator is a small and versatile analog sync pulse generator with genlock that generates HD / SD video sync and audio reference signals. The module has three SD sync outputs, three HD sync outputs, and a single audio sync output that may be set to 48 KHz Word Clock or Digital Audio Reference (DARS).
The module's versatile genlock feature enables it to genlock to any SD or HD reference input, with full cross lock capability, even across unmatched standards. The HD tri-level sync outputs can be configured to any of the available HD standards, while the bi-level SD outputs can be configured to NTSC, PAL, or PAL M/N. Regardless of the sync standard for the outputs, the SD and HD sync outputs and audio sync signals are all frequency locked to the reference.
The SD sync outputs can be color bars, black burst, or Sync alone, with a 7.5 IRE pedestal selected for NTSC standards and an adjustable burst phase in 8 increments. The sync generator is durable and temperature stable, making it appropriate as a reference source with a 2ppm resolution. All user controls are properly labeled and easily accessible at the module's top. This allows for simple adjustments to module function and configuration without the need for a manual.
