Product Overview
The Magewell Ultra Stream SDI is a dedicated SDI streaming encoder and recorder with SDI loop-through for professional live production and online streaming workflows. It accepts SD, HD, and 3G-SDI sources up to 2048×1080 60fps while encoding video up to 1920×1080 60fps using H.264 or H.265. Built-in recording, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, optional mobile broadband, smartphone control, and browser-based management make streaming and recording straightforward in compact production environments.
1080p60 H.264 and H.265 Encoding
Encode professional video at resolutions up to 1920×1080 and frame rates up to 60fps. H.264 and H.265 video encoding provides flexible options for live streaming and recording, with main and sub streams available simultaneously.
3G-SDI Input and Loop-Through
The BNC input and loop-through support SD, HD, and 3G-SDI signals up to 2048×1080 60fps. The incoming source can remain available to downstream SDI equipment while the Ultra Stream SDI simultaneously handles streaming or recording.
Professional SDI and Analog Audio
The SDI input supports up to 16 channels of embedded audio, while a 3.5 mm microphone input can add narration. A 3.5 mm headphone output provides convenient monitoring, and encoded streams use 2-channel AAC audio.
Built-In Multi-Destination Recording
Record video to 32GB of internal storage, a connected USB flash drive, or a paired mobile device. Internal and USB recordings support MP4 or MOV files, providing a convenient local copy alongside live streaming.
