The Lynx Technik greenMachine 4K 12G-SDI Frame Synchronizer & Dynamic Converter/Processor is a broadcast-quality HDR to SDR frame-by-frame segmented converter and frame synchronizer for SDI formats up to 4K UHD (38402160). It is the first system in the world to use an advanced algorithm for sectional dynamic tone mapping, which analyzes different sections of an image in the HDR stream and applies optimal corrections frame-by-frame in real time. This capability is unlike any other solution currently available and is the ideal real-time production tool for sports or any live broadcast event requiring high-quality HDR to SDR conversions in real-time. HDR EVIE+ is ideally suited for a single native HDR workflow, which can reduce equipment and labor costs.

The HDR EVIE+ offers 1x 4K/UHD processing channel or 4x 3G SDI channels that support the downconversion of HDR to SDR via sectional dynamic tone mapping. Wide Color Gamut (WCG) is also supported to meet the requirements of broadcast and professional AV live event productions. The HDR Evie+ package also includes the "HDR Static" configuration for Static HDR > SDR conversions, which uses static tone mapping to realize UP/Down/Cross conversions between HDR and SDR. This configuration is best suited for studio enthronement or lighting conditions that do not change drastically.
