The AJA FS4 SD/HD/2K/4K/UltraHD Frame Synchronizer is a 4-Channel 2K/HD/SD or 1-Channel 4K/UltraHD frame synchronizer and up, down, cross-converter. This is a versatile synchronizer and converter that offers superb connectivity in a smooth design of the 1RU frame for all of the 4K/UltraHD and 2K/HD/SD conversion demands. Presenting the broad range of connectivity options for audio and video in its capabilities. This product could work with four separate interfaces in 2K/HD/SD or merge with all channels and processors entirely for utmost flexibilities for 4K/UltraHD.

Actually, this FS4 provides two systems for complete signal processing and conversion; single-channel and four-channel. As of the single-channel, this product presents a full suite of 4K/UltraHD processing along with the up, down, cross-conversion to and from 2K, HD, or SD. The four channels provide 4 x 2K/HD/SD channels of concurrent processing and conversion, all within the sophisticated 1RU chassis for multi-channel high-density delivery.

With the standardization in this FS4 that has 4K/UltraHD delivery; this product provides rich options of digital connectivity: Quad 1.5G, Dual 3G, Quad 3G over 3G-SDI, and 12Gb/6Gb over optional 12G-SDI BNC and 12G-SDI LC Fiber SFP modules. Furthermore, the single and four-channel strengths: the single-channel make high-end any HD or SD files to 4K/UltraHD with the broad range of audio channels over Fiber, 3G-SDI, AES, and MADI for an incredible 272 x 208 matrix of audio possibilities.

Intrinsically, this FS4 offers more than just a rack-mounted synchronizer and converter. It is because it brings the smart thinking and smart interface that we can easily notice from the front panel. The design from the front panel provides direct operation: single-channel and four-channel. In single-channel: it works only with VID1 is lit and VID2-4 are off. As of the four-channel: the four VIDx buttons under Channel Select are lit up. Meanwhile, the rear panel provides sufficient Digital and Analog I/O Flexibilities and to name a few.
