Vizrt Connect Solo 12G SDI to NDI I/O Converter

The Connect Solo 12G from Vizrt allows for the conversion of 4K video to and from NDI and 12G-SDI sources and destinations. The Vizrt Connect Solo 12G is an IP video converter specifically created for the Vizrt/NewTek open-source NDI protocol. The device is capable of handling UHD 4K input and output, both from NDI to 12G-SDI and from 12G-SDI to NDI. This device enables you to establish a connection between your camera, webcam, or computer in order to broadcast live content over the internet or other broadcasting platforms.

The Connect Solo 12G is operated using a web-based user interface for the purpose of configuring and monitoring. The Connect Solo 12G is equipped with a 3.5mm analog line-level stereo audio input for incorporating audio and a 3.5mm analog line-level stereo output for extracting music. The Connect Solo 12G signal is capable of encoding 16 channels of audio and decoding 8 channels of audio.

The NDI protocol enables seamless recognition and interaction between all NDI-compatible video equipment, provided they are linked to the same network. The Connect Solo 12G is specifically engineered to transmit 12G-SDI video from a video source to a computer or IP-based video workflow. It is intended for applications such as gaming, corporate meetings, broadcast programs, or any other streaming media presentations. Additionally, it has the capability to transform any 12G-SDI source to be compatible with numerous NDI-compatible systems, devices, and applications that may be interconnected on the same network. This enables for the seamless integration of the SDI source into IP-based video capture and production processes, enhancing efficiency. In addition, it encodes and transforms NDI signals into a format suitable for transmission through the 12G-SDI output. This allows for tasks such as editing, recording, and streaming via a computer.

The Connect Solo 12G offers Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) compatibility, a compact and easily mountable design, Program and Preview tally LED lights, NDI virtual input, multicast mode, and NDI network identification.
