Netgear AV Line M4250 GSM4248PX 40x1G PoE+ 960W and 8xSFP+ Managed Switch

The Netgear GSM4248PX-100NAS (model M4250-48XP) is a fully managed AV Line switch with 40 PoE+ ports and 8 SFP+ uplinks, purpose-built for professional AV over IP environments. It combines high port density, ultra-low noise, and powerful multicast features—ideal for live events, broadcast setups, and enterprise AV installations.

AV-Centric Design

Part of Netgear’s M4250 AV Line, this switch comes pre-tuned for AV deployments. The AV UI lets integrators select profiles for Dante, NDI®, AES67, SDVoE, and other standards with a few clicks. These profiles automatically apply VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, and PTP settings—removing guesswork from AV network setup.

The fan control adapts to thermal load and operates quietly, making it suitable for sound-sensitive environments like studios and conference rooms. The switch also supports reverse-mounting, allowing all ports to face the rear of the rack—ideal for clean installs in AV racks.
