Return & Refund Policy
Effective Date: July 23, 2025
General Return Policy
We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of receipt. Most merchandise may be returned, except items marked as non-returnable. All returns must:
- Be prepaid via an insured shipping service
- Be received within 30 calendar days of delivery
- Be in brand-new, unused, and resellable condition with original packaging, manuals, blank warranty cards, and accessories
- Include a valid UPC code (if applicable)
- Be packed in an outer shipping box (do not write on or label the product packaging)
Returns after 30 days will be refused.
Shipping & handling charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a Coremicro shipping error.
How to Start a Return
- Contact our Returns Department at orders@coremicro.com to request a return authorization.
- If approved, you will receive a return shipping label and instructions.
- Send the return to the designated address—items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival and report any defective, damaged, or incorrect items within 5 business days. We will assess the issue and provide a resolution. Prepaid return labels will be issued where appropriate. Damage claims must include photos of the packaging and item.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable except where prohibited by law (e.g., if defective):
- Software, digital licenses, activation keys (non-refundable once delivered)
- Custom, non-stock, or special-order items
- Copyrighted materials (books, CDs, DVDs, forms)
- Bulk wire & cable cut to order
- Blank media (DVD-R, CDR, memory cards, etc.)
- Consumables (bulbs, batteries, chemicals, etc.)
- Hygiene-sensitive items (microphones, headphones, etc.)
- TVs and displays larger than 25"
- Submerged underwater gear
- Internal PCIe cards
- Items over 30 days from delivery
- Items missing original or blister packaging
- Drop-shipped items (vendor restocking fees apply if returnable)
- Truck freight or freight-intensive items
- Sale items and gift cards

Restocking Fees
Returns that are missing components, damaged, or otherwise not in resellable condition may be:
- Refused at our discretion
- Subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%
- Subject to additional deductions for missing parts or improper packaging
Vendor restocking fees may also apply to drop-shipped items if the manufacturer requires it.
Packaging & Shipping Requirements
- Returns must be packaged as "box-in-a-box"
- Do not use the product box as the shipping box
- Improper packaging may result in denial or restocking deductions
Refunds
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of return receipt.
- If more than 15 business days have passed and you have not received your refund, contact sales@coremicro.com.
- Orders with free shipping will have the shipping cost deducted from the refund.
- Customers will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed.
Exchanges
To exchange an item, return the original item first. Once approved, you may place a new order for the replacement.
Additional Return & Repair Policies
- Returned checks will incur a $25 processing fee.
- If Coremicro assists with a manufacturer repair, a $25 handling fee applies plus repair and shipping charges.
- Coremicro does not provide emergency replacements or loaner equipment.
Data Privacy Notice
Customer information collected during returns is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws, including the CCPA and GDPR.
Jurisdiction & Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California. All disputes shall be handled exclusively by courts in Alameda County, California.
