The responsive capacitive touchscreen makes navigation feel quick and intuitive, whether you are checking exposure, reviewing footage, or moving between tools on the fly.

You can view sources in quad split or full-screen mode, then play back captured shots on the same high-quality display for instant review without changing stations.

Built for multicamera production

When the shoot gets bigger, the Shogun AV-19 keeps up. With one HDMI input, two 12G-SDI inputs, and two 3G-SDI inputs, it can function as a quad-view live switcher and recorder for multicamera setups. You can monitor multiple live feeds, switch between them in real time, and record a fifth program output channel at the same time.

Because switching is fully asynchronous, there is no need for costly locked sources. That gives you the freedom to work with a wider range of cameras while keeping your setup more flexible and cost-effective.

NDI integration for modern workflows

The built-in Gigabit Ethernet port adds NDI|HX3 support, making it easy to bring the Shogun AV-19 into existing NDI environments. It is a strong fit for teams using PTZ cameras, IP-based production systems, or hybrid live workflows that demand low latency and reliable networked video transport.

Accurate HDR monitoring and LUT preview

From high-end cinema cameras to mirrorless systems, the Shogun AV-19 is ready for HDR production. It supports real-time HDMI and SDI output, letting you send HDR content directly to compatible monitors or displays while keeping a close eye on image quality as you shoot.

It can accept Log signals and apply LUT previews in real time, so you can see a Rec.709-style image while still recording in high-quality formats such as ProRes, ProRes RAW, and DNxHR. That is especially useful when clients, directors, or crew want a better sense of the final look on set.

Flexible recording for production and post

The Shogun AV-19 is built to simplify both capture and post-production. You can record the main program up to 6K at 30 fps over 12G-SDI or up to DCI 4K at 60 fps over HDMI. It also supports recording up to four 1080p60 ISO streams simultaneously, making it a practical solution for live switching, event coverage, and multicam productions that need isolated feeds for editing later.

Recording can be done directly to the front CFexpress slot or to external media through USB-C. Custom LUTs in .cube format can also be loaded from CFexpress or SSD media, giving operators more precise exposure and image control while shooting.
