Record up to 6K ProRes RAW

Bring out the full potential of your cinema camera. The Sumo 19 SE records pristine Apple ProRes RAW directly from SDI RAW outputs at up to 6Kp30, 4Kp60 DCI/UHD, or 2Kp240. It also supports CinemaDNG recording up to 4K DCI, giving you incredible flexibility in post-production. It’s fully compatible with top cameras from Sony, Canon, and Panasonic, including the FS series, C300MKII/C500, EVA-1, and Varicam LT.

10-bit ProRes and DNxHR Recording

Whether you’re using SDI or HDMI, the Sumo 19 SE captures rich 10-bit 4:2:2 footage in Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR at up to 4Kp60. Record up to four HD inputs at once or switch to ProRes LT and DNxHD 36 modes for longer sessions without sacrificing quality.

Bright, Accurate HDR Monitoring

Its 19-inch, 1920 x 1080 panel delivers 1200 nits of brightness and full 10-bit processing, making it perfect for HDR monitoring in any environment. SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs include built-in cross conversion and 4K-to-HD downscaling, so you can easily integrate it into any workflow.

Live Multi-Camera Switching and Recording 

The Sumo 19 SE doubles as a live switcher, letting you record up to four 1080p60 feeds simultaneously (via 3G-SDI Level A) — plus a fifth program channel. Switch in real time, display your mixed feed through HDMI or SDI, or stream live using an HDMI-to-USB capture device. Because switching is asynchronous, you can mix cameras that don’t support genlock or timecode without worrying about sync issues.

Professional Audio Inputs 

Dual full-size XLR ports with 48V phantom power support two external microphones for clean, balanced audio. Built-in meters, gain controls, and adjustable frame delay make it easy to fine-tune each channel and sync perfectly with embedded HDMI or SDI audio.
