Its 8/10-bit color processing, HDR support, and Rec. 709 color gamut deliver smooth tones and true-to-life contrast. The display also supports Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro/Plus calibration for consistent, professional color monitoring on every shoot.

Camera-to-Cloud Workflow

With the Camera-to-Cloud (C2C) system built in, you can upload video files straight from your Atomos Ninja TX to the cloud—no extra hardware needed. The recorder supports direct uploads to ATOMOSphere, Adobe Frame.io, and Dropbox, streamlining your workflow from capture to post-production.

Comprehensive Color and Metadata Support

The Ninja TX works seamlessly with log formats from top camera brands including Sony, ARRI, RED, FUJIFILM, Panasonic, Canon, Nikon, and JVC. Upload custom 3D LUTs for precise look management and output HDR conversions to Log, HLG, PQ, or Dolby Vision. Through the HDMI input, it records valuable RAW metadata such as white balance, exposure, shutter, ISO, gamma, and gamut.

12G-SDI and HDMI Input/Output

The Ninja TX offers both 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 connections for maximum flexibility. HDMI supports 8K up to 30 fps, 4K60, and 1080p120, with loop-through for sending signals to external monitors or streaming encoders. The addition of 12G-SDI broadens compatibility with professional broadcast cameras and enables cross-conversion between HDMI and SDI.

Recording and USB Connectivity

Equipped with a CFexpress Type B slot and dual USB-C ports, the Ninja TX delivers ultrafast data transfer via PCIe and NVMe protocols. Record directly to CFexpress cards or external USB-C drives, or use the ports for monitor calibration, LUT uploads, firmware updates, or audio device connections—built for scalability and future workflows.

Power Options

The Ninja TX uses a standard L-series battery plate compatible with NP-F batteries, or an optional DC battery eliminator for continuous power. Its USB-C port supports 30W PD power delivery with the included cable for reliable, extended operation.

Comprehensive Monitoring Tools

Professional tools include focus peaking, 2:1 and 1:1 zoom, zebras, false color (ARRI and EL Zone), frame guides, SMPTE safe areas, grid markers, waveforms, RGB parade, vectorscope, and 3D/1D LUT support with .cube file uploads. Anamorphic de-squeeze is available for accurate framing with anamorphic lenses.

Control Options

The Ninja TX combines tactile buttons with a responsive touchscreen for fast operation. It supports auto HDMI camera triggers for Canon and Sony via the Atomos Open Standard, SDI triggers with compatible cameras, Bluetooth and RF remote control via AirGlu, and LANC control and calibration through an optional USB-C to serial cable.
