Left = LTC Timecode · Right = Receiver Audio
Tentacle audio timecode is recorded to the camera's left channel while audio from the connected Sennheiser bodypack receiver is recorded to the right channel.
This allows both signals to share one stereo 3.5mm camera input while remaining separated by channel.
Jam Tentacle from a Zoom F6
The C16 can also be used in a specific Zoom F6 workflow where the F6 acts as the master timecode source and feeds timecode into a Tentacle device.
In this setup, the HICON locking mini-jack side connects to the Zoom F6 and the standard 3.5mm connection goes to the Tentacle for receiving timecode.
Record Timecode and Wireless Audio Together
Feed Tentacle LTC and Sennheiser receiver audio into a compatible stereo camera input at the same time.
Keep Receiver Audio on Its Own Channel
Route bodypack receiver audio separately from LTC so each signal remains easy to identify during post-production.
Use One Stereo Camera Input
Combine timecode and wireless receiver audio without adding another camera-side audio connection.
DSLR & Mirrorless Crews
Recording Tentacle LTC together with Sennheiser wireless receiver audio.
Documentary Shooters
Combining wireless lav audio and camera timecode in a compact production setup.
