Description
Product Overview
RGBlink Q16pro Gen2 Mediahub & Multi-Window Video Wall Processor (8 RU) is a modular video wall “engine” built for serious control rooms, LED walls, and multi-screen installs where the I/O needs to match the job—not the other way around. You populate the chassis with the input, output, and IP/communications modules you actually need, then build clean multi-window layouts, screen splicing, and scene switching on top of a stable hardware backbone.
Highlights
- True modular architecture: supports up to 18 input modules and 10 output modules for build-to-spec system design
- Multi-screen video wall workflows with support for up to 16 screens, plus multi-window monitoring and layout control
- 4K/8K-ready platform (module-dependent) for modern LED processors, media playback, and high-resolution canvases
- Production features built in: logo overlay, dual independent OSD rolling subtitles, and seamless switching between signals/scenes
- Install-friendly chassis: 8 RU, metal construction, and 100–240 VAC operation with up to 550 W device power budget

Why It Helps
If you’ve ever tried to “future-proof” a wall controller and ended up boxed in by fixed I/O, this is the opposite approach. The Q16pro Gen2 is a chassis-first platform: choose the right input modules (HDMI/SDI/DVI/DP/IP/HDBaseT, etc.), match your output modules to the processors or displays in the field, and keep expansion clean when the next phase of the project arrives.
System Characteristics
- Modular I/O means fewer compromises: you’re not paying for ports you’ll never use, and you’re not stuck when a client changes source types later.
- Multi-window monitoring is a workflow win on larger systems—especially when operators need fast confidence checks without external multiview gear.
- Redundancy is optional: plan for it on mission-critical installs where downtime is expensive.
- LAN control and cascading supports scalable deployments—helpful when one room turns into a campus-wide video wall network.
- 4K/8K capability is module-dependent: spec the right cards up front to avoid resolution bottlenecks.
