Description
Product Overview
RGBlink vue PTZ Camera with NDI, AI Dynamic Tracking & 20x Optical Zoom (MFR #981-1100-04-0) is a practical PTZ when you need a clean shot, solid control options, and a straightforward path into both baseband and IP workflows. The camera uses a low-noise 1/2.8-inch 8.42MP CMOS sensor, pairs it with a 20x optical zoom (plus 16x digital) and autofocus, and outputs UHD 4K up to 30 fps over RJ45/USB/HDMI. If you need SDI, the BNC output supports up to 1080p60, which is still the reality for plenty of switchers and distro in the field.
Highlights
- UHD 4K up to 30 fps via RJ45/USB/HDMI for modern IP + computer-based production paths
- 3G-SDI (BNC) up to 1080p60 when you need a traditional baseband feed
- 20x optical zoom + autofocus for tight speaker shots without constantly riding focus
- NDI|HX2 plus control protocol depth including VISCA, ONVIF, Pelco-D/P, and RS-232/RS-485
- Install-friendly basics PoE support, tally light, and 255 recallable presets for repeatable shows

Why It Helps
This camera is at its best in rooms where you want consistent framing without adding crew: classrooms, meetings, court, medical, conference, or command-style environments. You can run a UHD 4K feed into an IP or computer workflow over RJ45/USB/HDMI, while keeping an SDI path available for systems that still live in 1080p60. The real win is control flexibility—VISCA, ONVIF, Pelco, and serial control options mean it integrates into existing PTZ control habits instead of forcing a brand-new way of working.
System Characteristics
- Preset-driven operation: 255 presets via RS-232/RS-485/VISCA/Pelco and 10 via IR, so repeatable shots are easy during live shows
- Pan/tilt behavior: 340° pan and 120° tilt with variable speed control, which helps when you need slow, broadcast-style moves
- Embedded audio paths: audio can embed through HDMI, LAN (RJ45), SDI, and USB, plus a 3.5mm mic/line input on the camera body
- Physical I/O map: HDMI out, 3G-SDI out, RJ45 NDI I/O, USB-A output, RS-485 block, and RS-232 in/out for integration
- Environmental and size: rated -10 to 50°C operating; body is 152 x 210 x 167 mm and 1.9 kg (body only)
