Panasonic HD/SD Switcher

The HD/SD switcher from Panasonic provides users more privilege compare to the other products in the two-rack-sized switcher. It has the 16 HD/SD-SDI inputs (expansible to 20 with optional I/O boards); two DVI-D outputs and four HD/SD-SDI outputs. On the processing, there is the full 10-bit HD quality for maximum result. This switcher can be paired with some optional boards for additional up conversion, down conversion and scaling of many video formats. Diverse typical usage can be accommodated as well by this switcher such as mobile production systems, mobile vehicles, and an affordable solution for mid-size studios.

By having the built-in of the dual-display Multi-Viewer in this HD/SD switcher; it allows users to have (up to) 20 different images on two monitors (up to 16 for each screen) as such removing the need for a rack full of expensive monitors. In addition, there are extra features: dual 3D DVE’s, high-quality chroma key, shot and Pip memories, and two downstream keyers. Moreover, there are also dual picture-in-picture display, full-color correction, four independent AUX busses, and up-conversion on 4 inputs.
