Panasonic HD/SD Multi-Format Live Switcher

The HD/SD Multi-Format Live Switcher from Panasonic is a versatile video production switchers that have the best functionality and high performance in the compact form factor. This device is made with an intuitive interface for better handling of live production with its plug-in suitability for fast expansion. There are 9 standard inputs including the eight SDI and one DVI, and 6 standard outputs including 5 SDI and 1 DVI. By using this device, users can add up to 4 I/O (not included). To monitor the workflows process; users are provided with the 7.0” (17.8 cm) of multi-mode color LCD monitor, waveform/vectorscope, image monitor and to name a few.

High-quality Primatte chroma keying and versatile transitions, including DVE functions, are available in this HD/SD Multi-Format Live Switcher. The enhanced MultiViewer Display with 16 splits brings 9 screen variations, a clock, a level meter and 4:3 marker display. The switcher's Video Memory function provides playback of 2 channels of still images or video, while the Memory Preview function offers previews of shot memory and event memory image effects. This product supports Plug-in API functionality for external control, external camera control, the output of status data, etc. In addition, there is a control panel with extra direct button control, a numeric keypad and more; allowing users to acquire even greater easiness of usage. An SDK (Software Development Kit) is available from Panasonic to enable the creation of powerful custom Plug-in programs.
