Matrox Vion EX Compact IP Video Gateway With SDI, HDMI, And IP Inputs is built for production systems where SDI, HDMI, and network video all need to meet in the same box. It can encode, decode, transcode, and cross-convert several video formats, giving engineers one compact gateway for moving signals between baseband and IP workflows.

The Vion EX accepts two 12G-SDI feeds and two Mini-HDMI sources, while two full-size HDMI outputs provide local video connections. On the network side, Gigabit and 2.5 GbE interfaces support multichannel IP operation with H.264, H.265, JPEG XS, and NDI processing.
