Product Overview
Matrox ConvertIP DRH is a compact HDMI-to-IP transmitter and receiver built for ST 2110 and IPMX environments that run over RJ45 Ethernet. The same unit can be placed at either end of the workflow, sending HDMI into the network or receiving an IP stream and returning it to HDMI.
Three RJ45 ports keep the network side organized. LAN 1 carries media and control with PoE+ over 1 or 2.5 GbE, LAN 2 provides a second media and control path for redundancy, and a separate management port handles control traffic. The unit also provides zero-latency HDMI loop-out in transmit mode and runs without a fan.

Why It Helps
The DRH is useful when an HDMI source needs to join an IP production network without moving the workflow onto SFP-based infrastructure. Its RJ45 design keeps the media path on familiar copper Ethernet while still supporting ST 2110 and IPMX operation.
The three-port layout also makes system design easier to follow. Primary media traffic can stay on LAN 1, a second path can be reserved for ST 2022-7 redundancy, and management stays on its own control interface. That separation is useful in installations where media and control traffic are intentionally kept apart.
The box handles more than simple transport. Scaling, deinterlacing, color conversion, HDMI audio, and local passthrough are built in, which can reduce the number of extra processing devices needed between the source and the network.
