Magewell Pro Capture Quad SDI is a four-channel professional PCIe capture card for simultaneous SD, HD, 3G, and supported 2K SDI ingest. Four independent BNC inputs capture professional video with embedded audio in one workstation, while onboard 10-bit processing provides scaling, deinterlacing, color conversion, frame-rate conversion, and flexible multi-stream capture for broadcast, live production, recording, monitoring, and high-density video workflows.
Four Independent SDI Inputs
Four BNC connectors provide four independent SDI capture channels in a single PCIe card. This high-density design reduces slot usage when a workstation needs to ingest multiple cameras, switcher feeds, routers, or other professional SDI sources simultaneously.
SD HD 3G and 2K SDI Capture
Each input supports SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI formats, including supported 2K signals up to 2048 × 1080. Support for multiple 3G-SDI mappings provides compatibility with a broad range of professional broadcast and production equipment.
Embedded SDI Audio Capture
Each SDI input captures embedded digital audio alongside the video signal. Up to eight mono channels at 48kHz can be accessed from each input for recording, streaming, production, and custom application workflows.
Full 10-Bit Hardware Video Processing
Onboard processing supports full 10-bit video handling with hardware cropping, scaling, deinterlacing, aspect-ratio conversion, color-space conversion, frame-rate conversion, color adjustment, and OSD composition.
Ultra-Low-Latency Capture
Ultra-low-latency capture is specified at 64 video lines, reducing delay between incoming SDI sources and the host application. This supports monitoring, visualization, live production, and other latency-sensitive workflows.
Independent Multi-Stream Capture
