Product Overview
Magewell Pro Capture Quad HDMI is a four-channel HD PCIe capture card for simultaneous HDMI video and embedded-audio ingest. Four independent HDMI 1.4a inputs bring multiple cameras, computers, switchers, or other compatible sources into one workstation, while onboard 10-bit processing supports scaling, deinterlacing, color conversion, frame-rate conversion, and flexible multi-stream capture for production, streaming, recording, monitoring, and integration.
Four Independent HDMI Inputs
Four HDMI Type-A connectors provide four independent capture channels in a single PCIe card. This high-density architecture allows multiple compatible video sources to be captured simultaneously without relying on an external input switcher.
Embedded HDMI Audio Capture
Each HDMI channel captures embedded digital audio alongside video. Magewell SDK support provides access to compatible IEC60958 and IEC61937 audio with up to eight channels for professional recording, production, streaming, and custom application workflows.
Full 10-Bit Hardware Video Processing
Hardware processing provides full 10-bit video handling with cropping, scaling, deinterlacing, aspect-ratio conversion, color-space conversion, frame-rate conversion, color adjustment, and OSD composition for flexible application-specific capture formats.
Custom HDMI EDID Support
Custom EDID capability helps the capture system present appropriate display capabilities to connected HDMI sources. This provides additional flexibility when integrating computers, cameras, presentation systems, and other professional HDMI equipment.
Ultra-Low-Latency Capture
Ultra-low-latency capture is specified at 64 video lines, helping reduce delay between an incoming source and the host application. This supports monitoring, visualization, live production, and other latency-sensitive workflows.
Independent Multi-Stream Capture
Multiple capture streams can be generated from an input channel with independent settings for cropping, resolution, frame rate, aspect ratio, deinterlacing, color format, and color adjustment for different applications.
