Magewell Pro Capture Dual HDMI is a two-channel HD PCIe capture card for simultaneous HDMI video and embedded audio ingest. Two independent HDMI 1.4a inputs support professional production, streaming, recording, presentation, and visualization workflows, while onboard 10-bit processing provides scaling, deinterlacing, color conversion, frame-rate conversion, and flexible multi-stream capture. A PCIe Gen2 x4 host interface provides bandwidth for dual-channel workstation deployment.
Dual HDMI 1.4a Capture Channels
Two independent HDMI Type-A inputs allow simultaneous capture of two compatible HDMI sources in one workstation. Each input supports HDMI 1.4a and compatible DVI 1.0 signals with resolutions up to 2048 × 2160.
Embedded HDMI Audio Capture
Each HDMI input supports embedded digital audio alongside video capture. Magewell SDK support enables access to compatible IEC60958 and IEC61937 audio with up to eight channels for production, recording, and custom application workflows.
Full 10-Bit Hardware Video Processing
Onboard processing provides full 10-bit video handling with hardware cropping, scaling, deinterlacing, aspect-ratio conversion, color-space conversion, frame-rate conversion, color adjustment, and OSD composition.
Ultra-Low-Latency Capture
Ultra-low-latency operation is specified at 64 video lines, helping reduce delay between the incoming HDMI source and capture application. This supports monitoring, visualization, live production, and interactive video-processing workflows.
Multiple Independent Capture Streams
Multiple capture streams can be generated from an input channel with independent settings for cropping, resolution, frame rate, aspect ratio, deinterlacing, color format, and color adjustment.
Windows Linux and macOS Support
DirectShow, DirectKS, V4L2, ALSA, AVCaptureSession, and AudioUnit support professional deployment across Windows, Linux, and macOS. Compatible applications include OBS, vMix, VLC, XSplit, Wirecast, VidBlaster, and VirtualDub.

Two HDMI Type-A connectors provide independent video and embedded-audio capture channels, allowing two sources to be brought into the same workstation without external switching.
