The Lynx Technik yellobrik ORX-1400-ST Optical Receiver with Fiber ST is a small SDI to fiber optic receiver designed to overcome the challenges of distributing uncompressed, high bandwidth, broadcast quality video signals over long distances. When combined with a fiber optic to SDI transmitter (for example, the yellobrik OTX 1410), you have a very cost-effective optical transmission/receiver system for signals up to 12Gbit/s (40962160 @ 60Hz), while retaining full uncompressed quality.
The ORX 1400 operates entirely automatically. The SDI video format is detected, reclocked, and provided on two SDI output connections automatically. The ORX 1400 supports SDI video standards of 12G, 6G, 3G, and 1.5G.
