The Lynx Technik greenMachine GMPT-4KUPXD-US 4k 12G-SDI UPXD Converter with FS & Audio Processor is a broadcast-quality up/down/cross converter that supports formats up to 4k UHD (38402169) with all available features. This package is compatible with the greenMachine titan hardware platform. It is designed for applications that demand reliable up/down/cross conversion, frame synchronization, and audio processing capabilities. The converter's robust scaling capabilities enable a flexible Region of Interest (ROI) selection. The 3G Level A/B and 3G Deinterlacer bundled with the greenMachine titan make it compatible with any SDI standard up to 3G. (Level A or Level B).

The module also supports inputs and outputs for 4K UHD transmissions through 4x3G SDI (2SI Quad Link) or 12G SDI (Single Link). With the 2SI Quad-Link>Single-Link Conversion, signals between the single link and 2SI quad link can be exchanged. The sophisticated audio processing capacity de-embeds all audio and supports one MADI input and output as well as four external analog (balanced) or digital (AES) audio inputs and outputs. Multiple internal crossbars enable substantial audio shuffling, including of MADI streams, via considerable audio shuffling. It also has two Dolby E® decoders, Dolby E® synchronization, complete audio processing, and several user-adjustable audio and video delays.

In addition to a graphical user interface, the greenMachine titan hardware includes a local control interface with an LCD that displays image previews and audio level meters of the processed video routes. This greenMachine 4k UPXD package is also compatible with the Nova controller, allowing the module to be remotely controlled and monitored by third-party master control software.
