Up to 12 channels of 1080p60 H.264/H.265 video can be decoded simultaneously, while the web interface supports up to 16 real-time preview windows. The 4K IP video decoder is designed for high-density network video workflows where several compressed sources need to be monitored or returned to baseband video. H.264 and H.265 decoding supports up to 12 channels of 1080p60 or up to two channels of 4K UHD at 60 fps. SpeedHQ NDI High Bandwidth decoding supports up to seven channels of 1080p60 or one 4K UHD source at 30 fps. The HDMI and 3G-SDI decoder outputs convert network sources back into conventional production signals for downstream equipment. HDMI supports resolutions up to 3840×2160 at 60 Hz, while 3G-SDI supports up to 1920×1080 at 60 Hz. The outputs can carry identical or distinct decoded feeds, and parameters such as resolution, progressive or interlaced scanning, and frame rate can be adjusted for the destination. This provides a practical bridge to production switchers, SDI routing systems, UHD displays, confidence monitors, and presentation systems.

An SRT and NDI decoder gives broadcast engineers a common hardware endpoint for production-network video and compressed contribution streams. NDI High Bandwidth and NDI HX address local IP production sources, while SRT provides another option for contribution and remote-production transport. RTMP, RTMPS, HLS, RTP, RTSP, and TS over UDP broaden compatibility with common streaming and network-video systems.

The FD-360 also supports RTMP Server operation, allowing an encoder to connect directly to the decoder without requiring an intermediate relay platform. Combined with HDMI and SDI output, this makes the card useful where IP transport is preferred between locations but conventional video connectivity is still required at the destination.
