Camera Interface & Accessory Layout

The teleprompter accommodates a wide range of bodies—from compact mirrorless cameras up through small-form ENG units—without requiring major adjustments. The universal plate makes front-to-back balancing straightforward. Fortinge integrated two Cold Shoe mounts into the top section; their placement allows operators to add wireless receivers, compact LED fill lights, or ambient mics without interfering with the optical axis or hood.

Control Workflow & Software Behavior

The included Bluetooth controller responds smoothly and avoids the mechanical noise issues seen in click-based remotes. Latency remains low enough for live talent adjustments. Paired with the ForPrompt app on iOS or Android, operators can scroll, jump, or rescale text without touching the display device. The app covers the usual toolset—speed trim, flip mode for mirror orientation, basic color correction for text and background contrast, and simple script import. There are no paid add-ons, which makes deployment predictable across multiple kits.
