Product Overview
The DZOFilm PAVO 28/40/75mm Anamorphic Lens Set delivers three true 2× Super35 cinema primes in a single Blue Coating kit. The 28mm, 40mm and 75mm lenses share fast T2.1 maximum apertures, a 31.5mm native image circle, interchangeable PL/EF mount hardware and Imperial focus marks. Characteristic blue horizontal flares and elongated bokeh give filmmakers a coordinated anamorphic look, while matched 95mm fronts and 0.8 MOD cine gearing support lens changes. DZO-PAA3PLIB is the DZOFilm PAVO Blue Coating three-lens kit containing one 28mm, one 40mm and one 75mm anamorphic prime. Each lens has an aperture range of T2.1–T22, true 2× optical squeeze, a 31.5mm Super35 image circle, a 95mm front diameter, 0.8 MOD gearing, 270° manual focus rotation and an Imperial (feet) focus scale. The 28mm uses 15 elements in 13 groups and focuses to 0.40m; the 40mm uses 15 elements in 14 groups and focuses to 0.45m; the 75mm uses 15 elements in 14 groups and focuses to 0.84m. All close-focus distances are measured from the sensor plane. The kit includes PL/EF conversion components and a hard carry case. It is not an Arcana lens set, not the Neutral Coating version and not natively full-frame.
True 2× Anamorphic Super35 Optics
The three PAVO primes provide a fixed 2× horizontal squeeze and 31.5mm image circles for Super35 recording modes. Correct the squeeze when monitoring or finishing footage, then choose the crop for the intended delivery. The set is not described as natively covering a full-frame sensor.
Blue-Coated Anamorphic Flare Character
Blue Coating produces recognizable horizontal blue flare streaks when suitable light sources enter the optics. The look also includes elongated out-of-focus highlights and distinct anamorphic separation. Flare intensity and color depend on lighting, angle and filtration, so camera tests remain valuable.
Fast T2.1 Cinema Primes
All three focal lengths operate from T2.1 through T22 with manual iris control. The common T2.1 maximum aperture helps maintain exposure consistency while changing lenses. Iris rotation differs by focal length, so calibrate iris motors individually.

75mm — Portraits and Subject Isolation

ARRI PL Cinema Cameras
Use the PL mount on compatible Super35 cine cameras and check rear-element clearance before mounting. PL flange distance is specified as 52mm. The 31.5mm native image circle does not guarantee open-gate or full-frame coverage.
Canon EF and Adapted Camera Systems

Back-Focus and Motor Setup
