Why It Helps

A 35mm prime is a useful middle ground for full-frame production. It is wide enough to carry more of the environment into the frame, yet not so wide that the shot immediately takes on an exaggerated perspective. That makes it practical for dialogue coverage, handheld work, interiors, and general narrative shooting where the operator wants some space around the subject without backing the camera too far away.
