The redundancy layer your 100G IP system is missing

If you are running a modern SMPTE 2110 infrastructure and need to onboard high-frame-rate cameras like the URSA Cine 12K 100G into a redundant broadcast backbone, the Blackmagic Design StudioBridge 100G was designed for exactly that gap. One or two 100G camera feeds bridge into two independent network paths — if either fails, the downstream system switches instantly with no visible interruption.

One rack unit. NMOS IS-04/IS-05 control. Front-panel LCD with knob navigation. Dual redundant power supplies. Infrastructure-grade hardware built to disappear into your rack and just work.

SMPTE-2022-7: identical streams travel separate physical paths. Downstream switcher selects cleanly on failure — zero visible glitch.


Dual 100G camera inputs

Connect one or two 100G Ethernet cameras simultaneously. Combined bandwidth must not exceed 100 Gb/s. Pairs natively with the URSA Cine 12K 100G for HFR live production at frame rates that leave 10G behind.

Two independent 100G output paths carry identical streams across separate physical networks. Automatic protection switching with no glitch — the reliability live broadcast demands on every show.

NMOS IS-04 / IS-05 control

Dedicated 1GbE RJ45 NMOS port for IS-04 discovery and IS-05 connection management. Works inside software-defined broadcast control layers without proprietary workarounds.
