Product Overview
Record every camera.
Miss nothing. Ever.
The HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G captures all 8 cameras simultaneously — in broadcast-quality ProRes — straight to network storage. One box. One connection. Complete coverage of your entire show.

Designed from the ground up for live production
Think about everything that happens during a live broadcast. Eight cameras rolling at once. A director cutting on the fly. No time for mistakes, and no second chances. Now imagine being able to hit record on all of them simultaneously — capturing every angle in pristine ProRes — while editors on the same network are already pulling clips for replay. That is exactly what the HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G was built to do.
It is not just an incremental upgrade. The processing architecture is entirely new — eight times more powerful than a HyperDeck Studio 4K — because handling eight simultaneous Ultra HD ProRes streams demands it. From live sports to concert broadcasts to multi-camera news production, this is the recorder that keeps pace with the pace of live.
8-Camera ISO Recording
Every camera gets its own isolated recording. Recut the show any way you want in post — or pull clips for instant replay before the broadcast even ends.
Direct-to-Network Storage
Files land straight on shared NAS over 100G Ethernet. Multiple editors can open and work on the same media — while it is still being recorded.
Live Action Replay
Pair it with DaVinci Resolve and you have a full replay system. Select your angle in the multi-view, hit On Air, and the replay runs. Clean, fast, no extra hardware.
Full Redundancy
Dual 100G ports for video, dual 100G ports for storage, redundant PSUs, redundant cooling fans. If one path fails, the other keeps you on air. No exceptions.
RS-422 Deck Control
Legacy automation systems speak RS-422. So does this. Drop it into existing broadcast infrastructure without rewiring a thing. It even loops out to control other decks.
SMPTE-2110 Native
Built for the IP video era. A single 100G Ethernet cable carries all 8 video channels. Add SDI via the Blackmagic SDI Expander 8x12G whenever you need it.

A broadcast deck that feels like one
There is a reason traditional broadcast decks have barely changed their control layout in 40 years — the design works. Blackmagic kept what works and rebuilt everything underneath it. The machined metal search dial has real mass and a soft rubber surface with an active electronic clutch. The transport buttons have a firm, tactile feel. The LCD supports both light and dark mode. Front-panel USB-C means firmware updates take minutes, not days.
Air flows front-to-back, keeping the controls clean and accessible while the thermals stay under control — even in a packed rack. A headphone jack and built-in speaker round out the front panel. This is a machine that was thought through, not just spec'd out.

It speaks every language your facility already uses
RS-422 has been the backbone of broadcast automation since the early 1980s — and it is going nowhere. The HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G carries full RS-422 serial deck control, so every automation system your facility has invested in still works, right out of the box. No adapters, no middleware, no compromises.
It supports the Advanced Media Protocol for disk recorder management, and any transport button pressed on the front panel mirrors out through RS-422 — so you can daisy-chain and control other HyperDecks in sync. Broadcast engineers will recognize the device IDs immediately: 0xF0E0 in 30/60p, 0xF1E0 in 25/50p, 0xF2E0 in 24p.
Built for the moments when failure is not an option
Broadcasters do not get do-overs. A frame dropped during the championship, a missed replay at the concert, a storage hiccup during the live segment — these are not inconveniences. They are incidents. HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G was engineered with that reality at the center of every design decision.
SMPTE 2022-7 Seamless Protection Switching sends two identical copies of your video across both 100G connections simultaneously. On the receive side, incoming RTP packets are compared by sequence number, and a perfect frame is reconstructed from whichever packet arrives first. Switchover is completely transparent — no dropped frames, no audio glitches.
ProRes files that go everywhere you need them to go
ProRes is the language of professional post. Whether your editors are on DaVinci Resolve, Media Composer, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro, everything the HyperDeck records opens natively — no transcoding, no waiting. You get three flavors to choose from depending on how much storage you are working with and how much quality headroom your edit needs.
ProRes 422 HQ gives you the maximum quality ceiling. ProRes 422 hits the sweet spot for most broadcast workflows. ProRes 422 LT cuts file sizes significantly for longer-duration recording without sacrificing broadcast-acceptable quality. The Blackmagic Cloud Store Ultra and Cloud Dock Ultra are the recommended storage solutions — both feature 100G Ethernet ports that can serve the HyperDeck on one port and your editor network on the other, simultaneously.
