Blackmagic Teranex AV balanced analog audio connectivity has 2 channels in HiFi connection and 4 channels AES/EBU in the XLR connections. Another good thing for the storage side is that there is a built-in resynchronization where it functions for getting a clean switch between the still store and live feeds for all professional users.

This makes it the ideal choice for presenters using lavalier mics or laptop audio, as the audio can be embedded with the video on any output. Moreover, an optical fiber cage is included for the option to add modules and transmit video and audio over long distances. Alternatively, the Teranex Express, featuring all 12G‑SDI connections, is available for those who only require SDI.

Teranex AV allows aspect ratio, cross and standards conversions in real-time video processing, and more Teranex has HDMI input and 12G-SDI input connections; this Teranex AV also has the quad-link 3G-SDI output, thereby giving users wide possibilities to work with a broad range of older Ultra HD monitors as well as projectors which only work in quad-link SDI 1080 HD inputs.
