Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera EF 2.5K

Cinema Camera EF 2.5K from Blackmagic Design comes with 13 stops of dynamic range, the 2.5K image sensor, and a Canon EF lens mount. Key capabilities of this device, such as the recording capability 12-bit CinemaDNR RAW files at the full 2.5 (2432 x 1366) resolution. It can also process the 10-bit Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHD formats at 1080p. You can also have the removable 2.5” SSD.

The construction and design of the Cinema Camera EF 2.5K has an elegant chassis and made from aluminum material. It gives you the compatibility with third party EF mount lenses, which some of them are Canon EF, Zeiss ZE, and to name a few. The touchscreen gives you the easiness to add metadata to your shots, such as filenames, shot number, and keywords; as such this feature makes the post-production process easier.

For handling the high data video output, Cinema Camera EF 2.5K gives you the included full version of DaVinci Resolve (color correction software) for Windows and Mac. Also, there is the included UltraScope waveform monitoring software. Another inclusive software is the Media Express Software.
