ISO Recording + Cloud Integration

Each input is recorded as a timecode-synced H.264 file with AAC audio. You also get a DaVinci Resolve project file, making multi-cam editing easy. Connect to Blackmagic Cloud to share files in real time with editors and collaborators, even while you're still recording.

Advanced Video Effects and Transitions

The HD8 ISO includes ATEM Advanced Chroma Keyers, a powerful DVE engine for picture-in-picture and animated transitions, and customizable SMPTE wipes. The SuperSource processor gives you four additional DVE layers plus background—perfect for multi-guest interviews and creative layouts.

Integrated Media and Graphics

Load up to 20 stills and motion graphics into the internal media pool. Titles, stingers, and overlays are rendered with full RGB and alpha support. The included ATEM Software Control and Photoshop plug-in let you manage content easily.

Flexible Audio Routing and Mixing

The built-in Fairlight mixer supports live audio from SDI inputs, MADI, XLR, and RCA. It includes a full suite of tools—6-band parametric EQ, compressor, limiter, expander, and gate. Use audio-follow-video or take full manual control from the front panel or software interface.

Connectivity and Control

Stream directly to YouTube, Facebook, or other platforms with the built-in streaming encoder. Connect webcams via USB-C, use 9 SDI program outputs, and drive monitors with 2 aux outputs. There's even talkback support with camera tally and control return over SDI.
