Blackmagic ATEM Monitoring Rack Panel 40

The Blackmagic Design ATEM Monitoring Rack Panel 40 is the larger sibling of the Panel 20 — a full 2RU video converter and switcher control panel built for operators who need more buttons, a bigger display, and broadcast-grade reliability in a rack-mountable form factor.

Where the Panel 20 gives you 20 source buttons in 1RU, the Panel 40 doubles that to 40 buttons across 2RU, and trades up to a large 5-inch built-in LCD that gives you a real-size video monitor right on the rack panel face.

Like the Panel 20, it handles SMPTE-2110 to SDI/HDMI conversion — two redundant 10G Ethernet inputs convert to 2 x 12G-SDI and HDMI for local monitoring. The front-panel talkback connection is included, and the dedicated NMOS control port keeps IP routing separate from the production network.

For larger productions where 20 source buttons aren't enough, or where operators need a bigger local display without adding a separate monitor to the rack, the Panel 40 is the answer. Announced at NAB 2026 on April 14, 2026.
