The AJA DRM2-PLUS-A2 is a professional-grade 3RU rackmount frame designed to mount, cool, and power multiple AJA Mini-Converters in a single chassis. This configuration features an active faceplate and redundant power supply, making it ideal for broadcast, production, and live event environments that demand continuous uptime and reliable performance.

With 12 mounting slots, the DRM2-PLUS-A2 fits standard AJA Mini-Converters and can hold up to 24 small converters like the FiDO series, HA5-Plus, Hi5-Plus, and V2Analog or V2Digital—when used with optional Y-cables. It also supports next-gen AJA units like the DANTE-12GAM, giving you a flexible system for a wide range of signal conversion needs.

The active faceplate includes four integrated fans, built to handle high heat in demanding environments such as mobile trucks, control rooms, or on-location sets. For added peace of mind, the redundant power supply keeps your system powered even if one PSU fails—perfect for mission-critical workflows.

This model includes 12 modular carriers, and converters can be added or swapped easily thanks to the hinged front panel. No need to pull the unit from the rack for maintenance—just open the front and go. Each carrier holds one standard converter or two smaller ones with the optional DRM2-YC Y-Cable. You get 13 regulated 12V DC outputs—12 for Mini-Converters and 1 for the faceplate.
