The AJA DANTE-12GAM with BNC SFP is a high-performance converter for sending and receiving audio between 12G-SDI video gear and Dante® audio networks. It supports up to 64 channels of audio using Dante, AES67, and SMPTE ST 2110-30. This compact device offers both embedding and disembedding in real time. Designed for Audio over IP (AoIP) environments, the AJA DANTE-12GAM-TR-BNC lets you embed and disembed SDI audio from Dante networks with extremely low latency. This AJA DANTE converter supports AES67 and SMPTE ST 2110-30, making it ideal for interoperability with various IP audio systems. It uses dual etherCON GigE ports for network redundancy and offers PoE+ support, helping reduce cabling and simplify installs.

In addition to standard SDI audio pass-through, the DANTE-12GAM-TR-BNC includes two internal SDI signal generators. These generators enable transmission of Dante audio over SDI even when no video source is connected. You can confidently use this device as both a bridge and a standalone audio node.

On the front panel, you'll find an LCD display and four physical buttons for quick configuration. Remote management is just as easy, thanks to the AJA web UI, accessible through any browser. For initial setup, there's a USB-C port that works with the free AJA eMini-Setup software to assign static IP settings.

This model builds on the base DANTE-12GAM but adds dual-channel functionality with BNC connectivity. It's a plug-and-play solution for users who need high-quality Dante audio I/O with SDI infrastructure. You can also swap the included SFP with a fiber version if your workflow evolves.
