Description

The AV-HS410 is a video production Multi-Format Live Switcher by Panasonic. The AV-HS410 is designed for live production, while its plug-in compatibility makes for practical expansion. This video Switcher features 9x standard inputs, 8x SDI and 1x DVI, and 6x standard outputs, 5x SDI and 1x DVI. You can add an additional 4x inputs and 4x outputs (optional ). It features an integrated 7.0" multi-mode color LCD monitor that shows a simple menu selection, an image monitor,vectorscope and waveform.

The High-quality Primatte chroma keying and versatile transitions. It employs the Primatte algorithm, which is widely used as a plug-in for non-linear editors. Moreover, you can enhance your MultiViewer Display with up to 16 splits allows for 9 screen variations, a clock, a level meter and 4:3 marker display. The switcher's Video Memory function allows playback of 2x channels of still images or video, while the Memory Preview function offers previews of shot memory and event memory image effects. The AV-HS410 supports Plug-in API functionality for external control, external camera control, output of status data.. There is a control panel with extra button control, a numeric keypad and so more. This feature will facilitate your workflow.

Boards and Options
The AV-HS410 has a solid design with 9x inputs (eight HD-SDI,1x scalable HD DVI-D) and is expandable using option boards to a maximum of 13 HD/SD switchable signal inputs. There are 5x HD-SDI and 1x DVI-D outputs are standard with option boards, enabling expansion to a maximum of 10 outputs. The 2x expansion slots allow the simultaneous use of up to two AV-HS04M Series dual-channel input or output boards.

2-P-in-P and 4 AUX Bus
There are four AUX busses included in production workflow with mix transitions available on AUX1. The Dual PinP (with transition memories), one DSK, and an upstream keyer with the 3D flying key and Primatte Chroma key capabilities are provided. The high-quality 3D and 2D effects are available for transitions for both background and key. All input channels feature a built-in switchable frame synchronizer, while upconverters are available for four channels and 16-axis color correction for the eight standard HD-SD/SDI inputs. The AV-HS410’s frequency is switchable among 60Hz, 50Hz, and 24Hz, allowing international operation and digital cinema style live switching.

Easy Operation with 7” LCD Monitor
This video Switcher interface use 7" WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) color LCD monitor that in addition to displaying settings and menus can show input and output video, waveform monitor readings and even the Multiviewer display. Moreover, the MultiViewer settings include assignable screen divisions into 4/5/6/9/10/16 sections and support the display of time, audio level meters and 4:3 markers. The switcher's panel layout features buttons for functions such as PinP 1/2, A bus and B bus rows with 12 crosspoint buttons (22 with shift function). This allows an easy access to a variety of internal and external sources.

Customized
There are some advanced features that includes a dual-channel video/still clip player/recorders, 100 event memories, Effect Preview (for offline viewing of programmed effects), timeline editing and customizable Plug-in programs for external device control and many other applications. An SDK (Software Development Kit) is available from Panasonic to enable the creation of powerful custom Plug-in programs

When connecting to a hub (switching hub), use a straight cable. Use a crossover cable when connecting the unit and computer on a 1:1 basis without going through a hub. 

Use with the same segment is recommended for the equipment which is connected to the unit. If the unit is connected to equipment whose segments are different, events dependent upon the settings inherent to the network equipment, for instance, may occur so thoroughly check the connections with the equipment to which the unit will be connected prior to the start of operation.
