The Datavideo DAC-60 is a SD/HD/3G-SDI to VGA. The DAC-60 converts SD/HD/3G-SDI video signals into VGA. This is ideal for plasma TV, LCD screens, projectors and monitors. It features a loop-through input that passes the SDI input signal downstream without changing it. This feature allows the user to feed the same video signals to both VGA and SDI based equipment. moreover, the auto video detects the input format and scales it to the user selected VGA output format, which is indicated by the six LEDs.
The DAC-60 comes with software that you can set the built-in processing amp (proc amp) to adjust Contrast, Hue and Saturation of the VGA signal. The SDI loop-through signal is unaffected by the proc amp settings. The unit is designed to be portable as it draws only 500 mA at 12 volts and weighs less than a pound.
The DAC-60 is compatible with NTSC/PAL SD signals and HD-SDI and 3G SDI signals. The converter will detect scale and convert the input video signals into VGA.
The DAC-60 has a built in proc amp that supports Brightness, Contrast, Hue and Saturation of Adjustment. This feature can be controlled via the Windows software. After you set the image adjustments to the VGA output are complete, you can disconnect the DAC-60 from the computer and the unit will save the image adjustment settings.
