The Teranex Mini Optical to Audio 12G from Blackmagic Design gives you the function to de-embedded, up to 2 channel of analog audio or 4-channels of AES/EBU digital audio from SD to HD or Ultra HD 12G optical fiber and 12G-SDI video connection. Therefore, this device perfect for converting and sending out SDI signal towards massive equipments: analog broadcasting decks, audio monitors and other equipments. This device can also deliver 12G data rates with good connectivities such as PoE port, XLR connector, and the Ethernet control.
More on the connectivities, this Mini Optical to Audio 12G has extra feature such as optical S/PDIF audio via TOSLINK output. The portability side of this converter also gives you the ability to stack up 3 devices in the 1U 19" rack tray and remove it easily. When arranging rack-mounted devices side-by-side, it affects the temperature gets hotter. But, this device has the intelligent thermal subsystem that prevents any overheating.
