The Squeeze Desktop 11 Pro (Upgrade from Squeeze 8, 8.5, 9 Pro, Download) by Sorenson Media provides users with broad functionality. Not to be left out, there is the batch-processing as the advanced features. As for the usage, this device can be integrated as a plug-in with some well-known NLEs (Non-Linear Editing) system such as Final Cut 7 or Avid Media Composer as well as the Adobe Premiere Pro; and can also be used in Standalone mode. Certain files formats such as MPEG-4 that are categorized as highly compressed footage can be converted to the mezzanine codec (Avid DNxHD or Apple ProRes).

Even some big files format such as RED files can be down-converted to the smaller files formats or proxy files.
