The Roland V-1SDI 4-Channel HD Video Switcher is a 4-channel professional 3G-SDI and HDMI video switcher that can accommodate resolution up to 3G-SDI and HDMI audio/video sources with resolutions up to 1080p/60. This compact video switcher is perfect for both portable and fixed installation applications supporting live events and presentations, as well as small broadcast setups for enterprise video users, K-12 schools, and house-of-worship. It is easier to use a hardware interface video switcher with built-in T-Fader and backlit buttons. V-1SDI has a built-in Quad Input Multi-viewer that allows users to show all four input sources on a single display. Built-in Composite effects, this video switcher includes DSK, PiP, Split, and Quad composting. Included in the hardware, V-1SDI comes with 14 channel digital audio mixer.
The HDMI inputs and multi-view output from this switcher are HDCP compliant. The SDI inputs, SDI Preview and Program outputs support SMPTE 296M, SMPTE 274M.
Users can control the unit via the built-in RS-232 port, or via a PC using the USB connection. Eight memory functions enable you to recall specific setups, which makes it easier to get up and running when the switcher is shared among different productions. Built-in features include image freeze and output fades.
Video Inputs
This switcher has a four-channel video with a combination of up to three SDI and up to two HDMI. Video input 1 thru 3 is SDI and input 3 can be HDMI or SDI. Video input 4 is HDMI input only with built-in video scaling.
Audio Inputs
This switcher supports RCA, Mini Stereo, and SDI or HDMI audio embedded with a built-in delay function to synchronize the video and the audio. The audio follows function enables the audio to transition along with the video.
Multi-Viewer
This multi-view function allows users to show all four input sources on a single monitor
Remote Control
The V-1SDI is equipped with an RS-323 serial connection for control.
