The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro is an advanced technology, handheld 6K digital film camera with 6144 x 3456 Super 35 high-resolution HDR sensor, dual native ISO, EF lens mount, and direct recording to USB‑C disks. This powerful model adds an adjustable HDR touchscreen, built-in ND filters, and a larger NP-F570 battery for a longer run time.

The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera features a stunning design that combines advanced digital cinema capabilities with a compact, portable size. Compatible with Cinema/Photographic Lenses
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro feature an EF lens mount, so you can use lenses you already own from other cameras such as DSLR, URSA Mini Pro, or even the original Blackmagic Cinema Camera. You can use commonly available photographic lenses that provide incredible creative choices and wonderful feature film quality lens effects. The active lens mount lets you adjust focus and iris from the buttons on the camera or the touch screen.

Built-in ND Filters
The Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro features high-quality, motorized IR ND filters that let you quickly reduce the amount of light entering the camera. Designed to match the colorimetry and color science of the camera, the 2, 4, and 6 stop filters provide you with additional latitude even under harsh lighting. The IR filters have been designed to filter both optical and IR wavelengths evenly, eliminating IR contamination of the images. Activation buttons are located on the rear of the camera body, placed within easy reach of your thumb from the multi-function hand grip. User-selectable filter settings can even be displayed as either an ND number, stop reduction or fraction on the LCD!

HighDynamic Range (HDR) Images
The distance between the lightest and the darkest parts of an image is called the dynamic range and is measured in stops. Pocket Cinema Cameras have an incredible 13 stops of dynamic range, which means they preserve more detail in the lightest and darkest areas of an image than simple video cameras can. This allows you to set the exposure for an indoor scene such as a cafe and still retain the details of bright outdoor light coming through a window. You also get more colors than the standard DCI-P3 colorspace used for feature films. Plus, DaVinci Resolve Studio is included with the camera, so you get total creative freedom with full exposure adjustment and recovery controls when color grading.

Multiple Resolutions and Frame Rates
The 6K models will shoot up to 50 fps at 6144 x 3456 16:9 or 60 fps at 6144 x 2560 2.4:1 and 60 fps at 5744 x 3024 17:9. For higher frame rates, you can window the sensor and shoot up to 120 fps at 2.8K 2868 x 1512 17:9. You can even work in true anamorphic 6:5 using anamorphic lenses at 3.7K 60 fps at 3728 x 3104.

Blackmagic Raw
The Blackmagic RAW is a revolutionary new format designed to capture and preserve the quality of the sensor data from your camera. Video formats such as H.264 are highly compressed, plus add noise and weird artifacts, causing original sensor detail to be lost forever. Blackmagic RAW eliminates this problem and gives you stunning images with incredible detail and color throughout the production pipeline from the camera to edit color and mastering. It also saves camera settings as metadata so you can set ISO, white balance, and exposure in-camera or override them later while editing, all without any loss of quality! Blackmagic RAW files are also small and fast to use, making them easy to work with. Only Blackmagic RAW gives you the highest quality, smallest files, and fastest performance!

Large 5 "LCD Monitor
The Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro LCD monitor is a more advanced HDR display that can be tilted up and down, so it's easy to monitor your shot from any position. Plus, the 6K Pro model’s HDR display features 1500 nits of brightness, ideal for use in bright sunlight. You can quickly apply 3D LUTs for monitoring shots with the desired color and look. The Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro LCD monitor is a more advanced HDR display that can be tilted up and down, so it's easy to monitor your shot from any position.

Generation 5 Color
The Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro delivers an even greater advancement in image quality with stunning, accurate skin tones and faithful color in every shot. You get a new dynamic 12-bit gamma curve designed to capture more color data in the highlights and shadows, for better-looking images. The color science also handles some of the complex Blackmagic RAW image processing, so color and dynamic range data from the sensor is preserved via metadata which you can use in post-production. That means you get images that have a natural, film-like response to color adjustments in the post with DaVinci Resolve Studio.

SD Cards, UHS‑II, or CFast 2.0 Media
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera has CFast and SD UHS-II card recorders built-in, as well as a USB-C expansion connection for recording straight to an external media drive. When utilizing Blackmagic RAW, you may use standard SD cards for HD or higher performance UHS-II and CFast cards for native 4K or 6K. Imagine being able to capture nearly an hour's worth of full-resolution 6K photos on a single 256GB SD UHS-II card! All video software supports ProRes and Blackmagic RAW files. You can also connect the media cards to your computer and begin editing right away with the accompanying DaVinci Resolve Studio software!

Optional Viewfinder
The Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro supports an optional viewfinder to make outdoors and handheld shooting accurate and easy! You get an integrated high-quality 1280 x 960 color OLED display with a built-in proximity sensor, a 4 element glass diopter for incredible accuracy with a wide-4 to +4 focus adjustment. A built-in digital focus chart ensures you get a perfect viewfinder focus setup. You can also view critical status information such as frame guides. The Pocket Cinema Camera Pro EVF connects quickly to the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro via a single connector. The viewfinder swivels 70 degrees and comes with four different types of eyecups for both left and right eyes.

Davinci Resolve Studio
The BMPCC 6k Pro comes with a full license for DaVinci Resolve Studio editing, color, visual effects, and audio post-production. The License Key allows you to activate up to two computers at the same time. If you want to use a third computer, you must deactivate from one of the previously used computers.
