Color Grading Controls

🎨

Three Weighted Trackballs

Adjust tonal balance with three high-resolution weighted trackballs and their surrounding rings. You can work on lift, gamma and gain with separate physical controls. It feels different from dragging onscreen wheels with a mouse, especially when making small corrections across several tonal ranges.

🔧

12 Primary Correction Knobs

Twelve dedicated knobs give you physical access to essential primary grading adjustments. They sit directly above the trackballs. The layout keeps frequently used controls within reach during long grading sessions.

📺

Two Built-In 5-Inch Displays

The upper section has two 5-inch LCD screens, eight soft knobs and eight soft buttons. The displayed controls change with the selected tool. You can work with grading parameters on the panel while keeping the Resolve interface available for scopes, nodes and image review.

🖥️

Dedicated Palette Controls

Dedicated keys provide access to color page tools such as curves, qualifiers, windows and tracking. Switching palettes takes a button press. You spend less time locating controls on the screen.

🎬

Node and Timeline Commands

The Mini Panel includes dedicated controls for node operations, still capture and timeline navigation. Those shortcuts matter when you have dozens of shots to match. Your hands can stay on the grading surface for many routine actions.

💾

DaVinci Resolve Studio Included

A DaVinci Resolve Studio activation key comes with the panel. This is the paid Studio edition of Resolve, not simply the free download. Install the software on a supported workstation and use the included key for activation.

Connectivity and Power

🔗

USB Type-C

Connect the panel directly to a workstation through its USB Type-C computer interface. It's a straightforward option for a fixed desktop grading position.

🌐

Gigabit Ethernet

Two 10/100/1000 BaseT Ethernet connections are provided, including one with Power over Ethernet support. The network connections give facilities another option for installing the panel in a grading room.

⚡

Multiple Power Options

The Mini Panel supports an internal 100-240V AC supply, a 12V DC four-pin XLR input and PoE. Maximum rated consumption is 17W. Choose the power arrangement that fits the room's cabling.

Real-World Workflows

Commercial Post

Shot Matching

Matching camera angles often means repeating small primary corrections. Physical trackballs let the colorist change several parameters without continually switching tools with a mouse.

Documentary Editing

Edit and Grade at One Desk

Editors who also handle finishing can keep the panel beside their keyboard. They can move into Resolve's color page and work with dedicated grading controls without changing workstations.

Post-Production Facilities

Dedicated Grading Suites

The dual LCD screens put secondary tools within easy reach. USB-C, Ethernet and multiple power inputs also give an integrator choices when planning the desk and cable routes.
