This device has several features, some of them are 13 stops of dynamic range, a 2.5K image sensor, and the Canon EF lens mount. Primary capabilities are available, such as the recording capability 12-bit CinemaDNR RAW files at the full 2.5 (2432 x 1366) resolution. It can also work with the 10-bit Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHD formats at 1080p.

Made from aluminum and simple design makes this Cinema Camera EF 2.5K provide you with tough construction along with a touch of style. It also gives you the compatibility with the third party EF mount lenses, that some of them are Canon EF, Zeiss ZE as well as other lens. The touchscreen gives you the easiness to add metadata to your shots, such as filenames, shot number, and keywords; as such this feature makes the post-production process easier.

To handle the high data video output, Cinema Camera EF 2.5K gives you the included full version of DaVinci Resolve (color correction software) for Windows and Mac. In addition, there are UltraScope waveform monitoring software and Media Express Software.
