The Magewell USB Capture SDI (Gen 2) is a slim and compact dongle that lets you easily import an SDI signal into your computer for recording or streaming. The USB Capture SDI a handy and efficient way of connecting cameras, decks, switchers, and other broadcast and surveillance equipment to your computer.
The devices use a USB 3.0 interface and no external power is needed. They also support a USB 2.0 port, but the real-time frame rate will be reduced due to limited bandwidth. Users can also use a USB 3.0-to-Type C cable to connect it via USB Type C interface on the computer.
With a ruggedized metal housing, the USB Capture dongle is suitable for all kinds of mobile video capturing settings and even for outdoors. The housing is more than pleasant to the eye, which also helps to cool the chip effectively.
